Guia La Bruna SS2011 Swimwear Collection

Winter is over, and it's time to start thinking about full on summer days. If you are lucky enough to spend some time at the beach or poolside in the coming months, then you can do a lot worse than being draped in some Guia La Bruna while you do it.

For her Spring/Summer 2011, this young Italian designer revives her collection staples of clashing both pastel and bright Liberty prints on cotton and silk voile. As with her last summer collection, this season seems to focus more on swimwear than underwear, with twice as many swimwear looks currently on show on the official website.

This collection even features the quirky addition of some kiddies bikinis too- great for doing a (very) luxurious 'Mommy and Me' look for grown ups and little girls who love them some La Bruna!

Neither of the collections are available to buy from her official website yet, but you can view the latest lookbook here.

Beautiful Bottoms SS2011 Collection

It's officially the start of spring now, and exactly the right time for the launch of the latest collection from young Brit label, Beautiful Bottoms. As with their previous collection, this one too is made up entirely of 100% silk pieces, this time including loungey robes and playsuits designed to also double up as fancy beachwear.

Again, it's all about prints this season, with animal motifs and subtle florals featured on most items in the collection. There's also the 70s pool party vibe about some of the pieces-which is very on trend this season- that is especially evident in pieces like the super-glamorous Eddie long robe, with its sequin detailing on a bold all over print.

If you're familiar with the Beautiful Bottoms website, you'll also notice the brand spanking new layout, now with more shopping-friendly headings and categories, and improved information about what you're buying.
